PLAN YOUR DAY AT SPRING FLING!
The locals of North and West Melbourne are gearing up to hit the streets in celebration of the 42nd annual Spring Fling Street Festival taking place on Saturday 19th October 2019 from 11am – 4pm.
Tram, train, ride or stroll over to experience historic North Melbourne laneways come alive with pop up markets, street food, entertainment, the always adorable Spring Fling Dog Show and plenty of exciting offerings from local businesses.
With the aim of the event being to connect, collaborate with and celebrate our vibrant inner-city community, what better way to do this than with a bit of sunshine and some good tunes?
NO ROAD CLOSURE
This year there will be no roadblocks. Instead, we're taking the festival to the laneways and different event spaces around Errol street and other connecting roads. Meaning that local residents and traders will still have access to the main streets, as well as normal traffic.
We hope to minimise the impact on local residents while still providing a wonderful day for everyone.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT & PARKING
Route 57 Flinders Street Station- West Maribyrnong will be stopping right by the festival at stop 12: North Melbourne Town Hall/Errol St.
Bus 402 can be taken to O'Shanassy St. Bus 216 and 219 can be taken to Hawke street. Bus 952 can be taken to Abbotsford st/Spencer st. All of these are a short walk from the festival.

What's a better excuse to do your part for the environment and get some exercise in while you're at it by biking or walking over.
The Centre produces the Spring Fling annually and will be the HQ of the festival on the day.
Head there for information on the festival, programs and set times, first aid, or to find out more about other activities going on at The Centre.
HELP US KEEP OUR COMMUNITY CLEAN & GREEN
We care a lot about our North & West Melbourne community, especially how it looks. Please remember to respect the environment and place all rubbish in the appropriate bins provided on the day.
